The specific Vibration DVR, analyzes all those phenomena that stress the “hand-arm” system and the “whole body” system related to the use of vibrating machinery affecting one arm or both arms simultaneously.
To carry out the assessment of risks associated with the use of vibrating machines that affect only one arm or both arms simultaneously (vibration risks on the hand-arm system), reference is made to the provisions of UNI EN ISO 5349-1 “Mechanical vibration – Measurement and evaluation of human exposure to hand-transmitted vibration – Part 1: General requirements” and UNI EN ISO 5349-2 “Mechanical vibration – Measurement and evaluation of human exposure to hand-transmitted vibration – Part 2: Practical guide for measurement at the workplace.”
On the other hand, to carry out risk assessment related to the use of vibrating equipment (whole-body vibration risk), reference is made to the provisions of ISO 2631-1 “Mechanical vibration and shock – Evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration General requirements.”
Also in the case of vibration measurement, the measured values will be used to calculate exposure values that will then be compared with the action and limit values found in Legislative Decree 81/08 in order to determine a risk band.
